We can actively contribute to achieve a 100% recycling rate by recycling glass bottles and jars.

Recycling glass bottles

and jars is not complicated, you only need to follow these simple steps.

First, do your best to not break glass bottles, as there is no market for recycling broken glass. You can easily peel off the label and remove the plastic pump or lid. Next you need to rinse out the bottles and jars.

As the final step, take used glass bottles and jars to the nearest bottle bank or throw them into the container dedicated for glass.

Depending on the end use and local processing capabilities, you might need to separate them into different colours.

In addition, you can also recycle and repurpose glass bottles in other ways by using them in crafts.
